Traveling to Vilnius: Tips for Tourists

Vilnius International Airport is located 7 kilometers from the city center. As usual, you can get there by train, bus or cab.

Train

You can reach Vilnius International Airport by train in just 7 minutes. There are daily trains from here to Daugavpils and Warsaw (once a day, with a change at the border). You can find out ticket prices and see all routes here.

Cabs

Cab parking at the airport is located immediately upon exiting the arrival terminal in a designated lane. Both cash and payment cards are accepted.

Tip: always ask for a printed cash receipt at the end of the journey!

A trip from the airport to the city will cost you €10-15.

The cost per kilometer is €1-1.5.

Shopping in Vilnius

  • Old Crafts Workshop (Saviciaus 10)

The workshop is located in the Old Town, right in the center, so it’s easy to find. Here you will be introduced to traditional Lithuanian crafts, furnishings and tools from the old workshops. You can watch the craftsmen at work. Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11:00 to 19:00. The store is open.

  • Vitražo Manufaktūra (Stikliu 6)
