New York Is Always A Good Idea
It’s funny how life works. I was born and raised on the East Coast and I can remember a time I knew New York City like the back of my hand. But on a recent trip back to The Big Apple, I realized just how much things can change in a New York Minute. Kiddo has been dying to visit Manhattan for what seems like an eternity, so I decided I would take her to see the bright lights, big city for her birthday trip. But where do I begin planning?
When traveling I like to dive in and experience the culture like a local, but for this trip I want Kiddo to soak in everything wonderful NYC is known for. I want to hit the ground running, and cover as much possible so she can experience everything she’s ever read about in real life. I had her make a “NYC Wish List,” but I also want toss in a few birthday surprises for good measure. And that’s why I turned to PlacePass.
While researching the website they had so many activities great for tweens which I personally appreciated right at my fingertips. Talk about a valuable resource, using PlacePass saved me time planning by consolidating everything we were interested in seeing in one place and many were family friendly appropriate for children 6 and up. I was even able to select different types of categories based on our interests, so I didn’t ave to waste time scrolling through numerous suggestions that we simply wouldn’t have time to visit on this trip.
The Quintessential New York Getaway
I really want to make this getaway special for both Kiddo and I because New York City is a magical place and should be done right. And those of you who have been following our travels know we want to absorb as much possible wherever our boarding pass takes us. What made planning our excursions with PlacePass so appealing is each activity was specialized an set itself a part from your typical city tours.
But the real bonus was PlacePass has the channels to save you time at major attractions with skip-the-line and fast-pass tickets for many popular must-see attractions including: museums, aquariums, and major monuments overseas like the Eiffel Tower and the Vatican. You bet I will put those to use on our next European adventure.
