The JetSet Family is honored to collaborate with wonderful brands that care about celebrating family. Thank you, Hasbro for making this post possible.

Last year, my husband switched jobs and took a great position at a new company. While this was exciting for all of us, our family certainly experienced some changes + growing pains that we are still trying to get used to. Mostly? QFT = Quality Family Time. See, for years, my husband worked from home and his hours were flexible allowing us to spend lots of time together.  But now, with his commuting to and from an office each day, and the winter days getting shorter, we’re missing that time more and more.

Family Game Night: GetYourGameOn

So I knew I had to come up with a solution. How could we squeeze more QFT in? Listen, every so often I get a brilliant idea. It’s rare, but it is known to happen on occasion. Instead of rushing to eat dinner, then sending Kiddo right off to bed, our little family depends on family game nights to bring us closer. It’s our normal. These are the moments we enjoy most + cherish at home. The laughter is loud, the smiles are big and the fun is never ending.

Do Not Pass Go, Free Parking + Luxury Tax

Monopoly is probably the longest game you could possibly pick for Family Game Night, but let’s be honest: It’s the BEST! C’mon, we all think we have what it takes to rule the Boardwalk Empire, and that’s what makes it so much fun.

Dude, You Sunk My Battleship

Oh, and you know JetSet Hubs + I throw down mad Battleship tournaments once Kiddo is snug as a bug counting sheep.

The Game of Life

I had so much fun going down memory lane with these games. It was impossible to escape the warm fuzzy feeling of nostalgia. My husband and I each had such fond memories of being a child and playing these games with all-generations of our family. And there are so many: Connect 4, Twister, Scrabble, The Game of Life, Battleship, Monopoly, Operation, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Trouble, Sorry and Jenga! Not to mention there was one common thread that wove through each and every memory: the laughter. More specifically, the tears + the side pains from laughing so hard. Wow, I miss those days, but I’m sure glad we can recreate them and make new memories of our own.

Truthfully, this campaign could not have begun at a better time because now I want to give all of my loved ones classic games from Hasbro Gaming. I mean it. And going forward? Should you invite me to your home for dinner or a party, count on receiving Jenga because it is officially my go to Host/ess gift now.

We are just starting to venture into games. My special needs daughter just struggled too much with the process of playing before. She is really starting to enjoy them lately though.
