Kidstock Arts & Music Festival

The best red carpet events in LA are not just for the grown-ups, kids in our neck of the woods are the true VIPs. Especially, when your JetSet kiddos are headed to an afternoon of off-the-charts fun in the 9-0-2-1-0. This was no exception last Sunday at Greystone Mansion where the annual Kidstock Music & Arts Festival with three time encore presentation by HUDSON Jeans was held. This event which benefits One Voice Scholars was a blast. Scratch that. It was INCREDIBLE.

Double Date

Once again The Moms (JetSet Friend, Sharon, and I,) chaperoned JetSet Tot + Sk8r Boi as they cruised up The Sunset Strip and were shuttled through the Hills of Beverly to the type of mansion that you read about in fairy tales. But this place was different, Radio Disney filled the air, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Baskin-Robbins and SodaStream tickled our taste buds, DSW had airbrush artists on hand to customize Chuck Taylors, Jo-Ann Fabric let us tie dye awesome canvas bags, Stefanie Scott of Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm performed a killer version of “Rollin’ In the Deep” and HUDSON Jeans was introducing a new rock and roll collection of kids clothing due out this summer. And we decorated Shwings! But a special favorite was Mr. Dallas Clayton and his amazing books which we’ve been fans of for the last two years.

I will get more into all the fun and swag, but we know how much our JetSet readers love when we kiss + tell, so here is a list of whom we spied with our little JetSet eye: Sarah Michelle Geller, Angie Harmon, Ziggy Marley, Peter Kim, Jim Belushi, Greg Kinnear, Bill Bellamy, Rodge and Sky Sky for you Rachel Zoe fanatics, Giada De Laurentiis, Heather Tom, Stefanie Scott, Ahmet Zappa, and Randy Sklar. OK, so now is this all registering? Let’s recap: not only was there a Marley and a Zappa, but Buffy, my favorite L&O ADA ever and Sky Sky who needs his own Bravo series. Are you hearing me Andy Cohen?

The Fun Stuff.

Kidstock was such a FAM-tastic day for an amazing cause. But what would an event be without running into SavvySassyMom and her SavvySassy entourage-slash-JetSet Fam who are off to Costa Rica before we know it? We also caught Rockin’ Mama enjoying the day as well.

It is days exactly like this one why I love where we live so much.

Hugs & passports,

– Nicole
