I crave silence. But, c’mon, let’s be honest. I have an 8 year old. So my needs + wants aren’t always a reality because in my world, she comes first. Always.

The holidays came screaming into town like a crazy train this year + I really needed to find a little resolve stat. I popped on my favorite Holiday Tunes playlist and grabbed an adult coloring book with some Prismacolor Premier® markers I received at that event I attended a few days ago. Suddenly, everything around me disappeared. I have no idea how it happened.

Then it dawned on me, my tribe needs this in their lives! To relax, re-group, de-stress, and re-energize. How much fun would regular mornings of Coffee -n- Coloring be? Coloring is similar to meditation by allowing us to flip the switch in our brain which lets us “turn off” the world and escape for a bit.

I’ve made no secret throughout the years that I am a self-proclaimed marker snob and I’m happy to report that Prismacolor Premier passed my test with flying colors. <–See what I did there. Funny, ha ha, right?

But the fun doesn’t end at markers for Prismacolor Premier. The Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils have thick cores of color that are long lasting and help bring bold statements to life.

I really hope you will consider trying this fab trend yourself because I just know you are going to love every moment of it.

Peace, Love + Coloring

My 11yr old loves the adult coloring books. The regular ones are just too simple for her.

A young lady we know, now almost 20 years old, loves to color and draws and colors often. My Mom has always enjoyed coloring as well.

I love coloring! Yes I am an adult, but it really helps relives my stress.

I have always loved coloring. While at the Dollar Tree a few weeks ago, my daughter and I each got coloring books. I am having a blast coloring in my adult coloring book.

  • One of my best friend’s has tried to get me into art for meditation and healing for years. She’s an artist though and I am not. However, I think these adult coloring books would be a perfect way for me to try it out. With 5 kids I could use something that helped relax me 😉
