This Is My Jam

Tracking PixelDo your next concert up right by throwing together the ultimate tailgate party for you + your friends. This post was made possible thanks to our friends at Pringles®.

Rock and roll has always been constant thread in our family life. A quick scroll thru my Instagram or Twitter feed will instantly show that not only is music one of our true passions, but is a lifestyle of sorts for us averaging about 25 shows a year. It is such a regular part of our family life that it earned it’s own category here on the blog called: FRONT ROW. Here is where I share stories of behind-the-scenes shenanigans, tips for taking kids to concerts and first hand accounts of all the concerts we attend as a family from our favorite acts and bands like Foo Fighters, Beck, PHISH, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails, G. Love and Harry Connick Jr. I know, I know, some of these things are not like the other, but that’s what makes our life so much ding-dang fun.

I’ve been itching for our next show and it only makes sense that we do something extra special this time around. See, Tot woke us up really early one Saturday morning for “Beat the Bots.” She made us take her down to the Honda Center so she could stand in line at the box office with her own money and buy tickets to the upcoming Foo Fighters concert. I’m happy to say she snagged tickets and so did a bunch of friends, so it’s time to plan the “pre-funk” tailgate.

The guest of honor? Pringles®

Our tailgates aren’t complete without Pringles®. Tot and I love the OG Sour Cream + Onion, while Hubs is a fan of the Salt + Vinegar chips. They are delish, so easy to pack and when all is said and done, you have an instant drum kit for hours of fun. Just add drumsticks and you’re on your way to becoming a Pringles® Percussion Prodigy! We also pack the picnic basket with some soft drinks, water, sandwiches and a few sides and we’re ready to roll.

Tailgating 101

Now that you’ve got your favorite Pringles® squared away, all you need is a great insulated picnic basket, blanket for a sitting area on the ground, soft drinks, bottled water, a few “Drunk’n Goat on Highway 128” sandwiches from our favorite shop, and a few cold side salads and you’re ready to roll. But there is still one thing missing…the jams!

This summer I wanted to partner with Pringles® because they have not only recently unveiled its inaugural Summer Jam for music fans across the U.S. giving them exclusive access to their favorite artists; but by simply picking up a can of your favorite Pringles®, you can enter to win a rock star adventure of a lifetime. Our friends at Pringles® is sending one of you with a friend on a VIP experience to a Live Nation concert. But act soon, because the sweepstakes is open until 7/31/15 at 11:59pm ET.

Wondering where we’ll be next? That’s easy, just scroll down to the bottom of this page and check out our upcoming line-up under our Social Diary listing.

We’ve been eating Pringles for years. I think we’ve probably tried ever flavor they have!

  • Maria July 21, 2015

We love Pringles flavors and the fact that we are getting a full chip vs crumbs. It’s a perfect solution for a traveling family.

I love Pringles and for us they are the best road trip snacks! Easy to pass around the car, can’t rip the bag and they come in so many great flavors.

Cheese pringles are one of my kids all time favorite chips. Looks like pringles are a hit at your house too!
