Riondo Prosecco Makes Quality Gal Pal Time a Bit More Bubbly

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Riondo Prosecco. All opinions are 100% mine

In the big scheme of things, I would classify myself as a light drinker. I enjoy cocktails with friends, over delicious cuisine and fun conversations, and I’m always on the prowl for something new and exciting that’s refreshing with a hint of surprise. I guess that’s why I find Prosecco to be so enjoyable. It is perfect alone or with fab fresh garnishes.

Prosecco offers a unique alternative to traditional cocktails and wine, light enough for brunch, but delicious at dinner as well, the possibilities are endless. It is especially perfect during the summer months when fruits are so flavorful and abundant. I must admit, Prosecco is a drink even your most discerning guests fall in love with.

The kids are (finally) headed back to school, and I was starting to miss my gal pals. The thought of gathering them for an impromptu “cheers” to recap our summer adventures and catch up on life got me very excited and before I knew it, my wheels were turning. Let’s face it, it’s the little things that bring the most joy and what’s better than girl time?

I set out some light bites with a do it yourself Prosecco buffet featuring a few of my favorite ingredients. It was the perfect way to bid fare thee well to summer, yet embrace the next chapter of freedom for the next few months when we would welcome those few hours of coveted (and well needed) uninterrupted kid time. Salut to education!

Riondo Prosecco Cocktails

I headed to the market for some Riondo Prosecco which is my go-to, and filled my basket with fresh berries and herbs, some of my favorite sherbets, juices, and flavored carbonated waters, not to mention the accompaniment of a fab cheese platter, and the rest was history. Our mid-morning was filled with laughter and ridiculous adult banter where we could put adulting on hold for an hour or two.

I broke out my favorite flutes and glassware to fancy things up a bit and we talked about everything from fashion to travel, books and guilty pleasure reality tv shows we binged throughout the summer.

Growing Popularity of Prosecco

For those unfamiliar or new to the world of Prosecco, it is a white sparkling wine from Italy and has taken off recently among consumers due to its approachable style – it is usually light, fruity, with some sweetness.
