PALETA: Kids Meals

Dear Chef Kelly,

You have spoiled my child beyond reprehension and have made her the ultimate 4-foot foodie. She has a new found love for salmon, requests I bake her pretzel baguettes for her lunch sandwiches, has asked numerous times if, “there is any PALETA food left?”, expects boxed water, and now tells me I do not season her meals properly when I cook her dinner. The last straw was when she asked if she could juice. I’m not sure if I want to hug you or nudge you, but one thing is for sure…I’m packing her bag and sending this mini-food critic, all but six-years old to come live with you! Oh, and you can thank me later 🙂

xo,

JetSet Mom

PALETA for Kids!

She loved it. Absolutely loved it. Chef Kelly Boyer of PALETA farm-to-table meal delivery, knew exactly how to win over JetSet Tot when she prepared and sent over the most amazing Kids meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. For three days, JetSet Tot dined on meals that most people only order when out to dinner or a great lunch. Not my child, it was as though PALETA had given her her own personal chef to cater to her refined palette and every dining dream. And everything was not only flavorful, but fresh, in season, healthy and the exact right portion. Delivered each morning by 6 a.m., JetSet Tot would race to the door the minute she saw sunlight peek in her room anxious to see what Chef Kelly left on the doorstep.

Paleta Farm to Table Meal Delivery for Kids

Now let me tell you why JetSet Mom loves PALETA… back-to-school is hectic enough, but add in Daisy Scouts, squeeze in work events, pick-up and drop off, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, you know the drill… well all of that can become enough to make you go looney and suddenly you’d rather be balancing the nation’s budget than having to make school lunches. Especially, healthy ones. Waking up to three meals, and two snacks was the greatest gift a mom could ask for. Just knowing there were fantastic gourmet meals already prepared in my fridge for that night, ready to go was a huge blessing.

Neatly packaged with creative menus and colorful presentations, PALETA hits it out of the park by encouraging lil’ ones to try new things. JetSet Tot eats with eyes. I know that sounds odd, but if she sees something bright with vibrant colors she is more apt to try it than something brown. PALETA has this very unique way of sneaking pureed veggies and other healthy ingredients into their farm-to-table meals. And PALETA also does a fantastic job working with your food preferences, dietary restrictions and allergies. And what’s brilliant is each meal is complete de-constructible so little picky eaters can easily take off something they don’t have an appreciation for!

Faves: Tot went nuts for: the Chummy Chicken Kebabs / Mom and Dad considered offering her a trip to Disneyland if she’d let us eat her Blazin’ Beef Popey – IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS DELISH.

Day 3: THE BIG WINNER!

Breakfast | Banana Walnut French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup and Chummy Chicken Sausage; Lunch | Thai Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce in a Cabbage Cup filled with a Rainbow of Veggies; Dinner | Swimmin’ Salmon with Garlic Roasted Yellow & Green Wax Beens and Power Mashed Potatoes; Dessert | Raw Cacao Pudding with Fresh Berries; Snack | Wacky Wednesday Watermelon and Orange Salad with Feta.

The little one devoured every single item in this bag. She is now a big fan of chicken sausage and salmon which she has never tried before!

This is a gift that when it is over you are truly sad, I mean really, really, bummed. Let’s just say it was so good, JetSet Tot asked repeatedly if we could hide it from JetSet Dad! Poor man, one day I will set up PALETA Perfect Plate meal delivery for you, I promise!

Oh, and P.S. PALETA, I’m drawing the line at painting her room Tangerine.  xx

This is amazing!! These meals sound delicious! What a wonderful service. I am going to study her menus for those three days and see if I can learn a thing or two about pleasing my kids in the food department.

That looks like a truly amazing service. My son would probably eat a lot of it, but I don’t think I could convince my daughter (much to my chagrin)

I love to cook but sometimes I wish someone would bring me an awesome meal like this! The Hubs ordering pizza does not count
