#FSLetItSnow Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village | The JetSet Family

Each December, the hopeless romantic in me dreams about giving my daughter a white Christmas. But let’s face it, as much as I adore Kiddo, I don’t do cold weather. I’m not going to let that squash my dreams either. So I do what any east coast girl living in a west coast world would do: we checked into Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village for their annual LetItSnow festivities.

Those following me on Instagram and Facebook got a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of our weekend, but for those just checking in now, it’s time to play catch-up!

#FSLetItSnow Feel Good | The JetSet Family

It’s hard not to be in the Christmas spirit with so much holiday fun around every corner, and even harder to believe that just a few miles away Santa is hanging ten on his long board with eight tiny reindeer following behind on jet skis off the shores of Malibu. Truth.

Taking place on selected Friday and Saturday nights during December, the entire property located at the base of the Santa Monica mountains, is transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with snow and ice skating. Yes, Virginia, I said, “Ice skating.” The hybrid ice skating rink is a HUGE hit with the kids gifting them with lots of laughs and really big smiles.

A big highlight of our weekend was spending time with La Jolla Mom, Katie Dillion, and her daughter. The girls enjoyed having the run of the place from decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus, visiting Santa’s workshop for a quick picture, taking a spin on the Holiday Express Train Ride with a special cameo appearance from Mr. Grinch himself, and of course, ice skating.

The Breakfast Club

One of the most memorable moments was Kiddo having the opportunity to dine with the Minions at the Character Breakfasts. She was also a bit starstruck when Olaf came by our table, but who wouldn’t be? I mean, who doesn’t want to build a snowman?

Shortly after breakfast, Hubs + Kiddo hightailed it to the pool while I sought refuge at the Spa for some R&R and pampering. I’m telling you, this property has something for everyone and is one of the best family-friendly resorts in the country. I should know.

Sadly, we couldn’t stay forever. But we couldn’t say, “See you later,” without one last lunch on The Bar’s LOOK OUT patio. And I can’t lie, I was so happy when we were seated in Genevieve’s section because she’s our favorite server ever. When it comes to deciding what I feel like eating, she knows me better than I know myself.

Speaking of nosh, do you follow La Jolla Mom on Instagram? She posted some YUMMY pics from her stop at The Tasting Bar, and you can bet we’re going to try that on our next trip up to Four Seasons Westlake Village.

Let It Snow!

So how do you make this Winter Wonderland all yours? By checking into the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village for a weekend of festive fun with the Winter Wonderland package of course! The package includes the special Breakfast with Holiday Characters for two adults and one child on Saturday morning; free admission to the #LetItSnow event with ice skating and train rides on Friday or Saturday night; complimentary self parking and premium Internet access and we cannot forget about the luxurious accommodations that you can always expect from Four Seasons.

Good-bye Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. Until next time…

Oh- so this is what you do on the West Coast during winter holidays! It has been unusually warm here in Boston this December, but normally I would be very jealous.
