i♥oc: Today Is The Big Day

iheartoc

Now that you’ve had a few weeks to think about it, which charity are you going to give to? Take this opportunity and  help a cause close to your heart. Will it be Discover Science Center of OC, or Make-A-Wish Foundation of OC? Perhaps you are a fan of the arts and feel the gift should go to Muckenthaler Cultural Center Foundation or Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Maybe it’s the Boys & Girls Club or helping the AIDS Services Foundation of OC. It really doesn’t matter which charity you pass your contribution on to because they are all deserving.

#iheartoc Giving Day

A few weeks back, The JetSet Family partnered with Orange County Community Foundation in celebration of #iheartoc Giving Day on April 21st. #iheartoc Giving Day from April 21, 2015 to April 22, 2015 will allow donors a 30 hour window to participate in a virtual online telethon in hopes of raising $2 million dollars for nonprofits of Orange County. We announced a very special giveaway that granted three winners the opportunity to grant one Orange County charity a $150 gift card courtesy of Orange County Community Foundation.

So once again, what are you waiting for? With over 350 Orange County charities participating, your donation will stay local and benefit the community as a whole.

Which charity are you going to give to? Forget the latte and give today. Take this opportunity + help a cause close to your heart today for i♥oc Giving Day.

Give Where Your Heart Lives

Every dollar counts and every contribution will make a huge difference. I hope you will forego that fancy latte today and be a part of the solution.

Visit iheartoc.org for more details about OCCF and to find your favorite OC nonprofit. You can also make a difference by following OCCF across social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Show Us Your Heart

On behalf of Orange County, OCCF and the numerous OC nonprofits, thank you and I hope you will join me in making a difference on ioc Giving Day.

Thanks so much for sharing and for the reminder to give. We always try to help support the cystic fibrosis foundation before and after the death of a family member with this disease.

Great idea! I love the idea of giving back. I am always trying to teach the kids how to give to others. There are some great tips on here.

I’ve been giving to a local charity right through Amazon smile. It makes it really easy to give back. I think everyone needs to pick some thing that is important to them and show their support.
