Holiday 2018 Playlist

‘Tis the season to update your holiday playlist…

Turn up the Sonos and press play because The JetSet Family’s is streaming our 101 Favorite Holiday Songs because friends, this is by far my favorite topic of the year!

Do you hear what I hear?

The moment I feel that chill in the air, without fail, I get my Christmas tinsel in a tangle and begin to quietly stress out over which jingle jams to include on my holiday playlist. I like to switch things up from year-to-year, and for those just tuning in, I take this DJ Santa Claus gig task quite seriously. It is filled with my favorite Christmas carols both new and old, and ones you probably have never heard, but you are going to love.

♫ Stream: The JetSet Family’s 101 Favorite Holiday Songs

Well, this year? I think (ummm…I mean, I hope,) I’ve nailed it. I made a playlist, and I’ve checked it twice, I’ve paid attention to hear which were naughty, and which were nice, and I’m really pleased with the final list. I have included over 100 of our family’s favorite Xmas songs to move and groove to.

If we’re being honest (and I’m always up for a good chuckle,) the amount of time and energy I spend on carefully curating this list, picking each song, and then strategizing the flow, and energy of the entire vibe, I should really be the Calvin Harris of Christmas music by now. But nope. Instead, I’m more like the resident  DJ in the Land of Misfit Toys. I don’t give up though, and I hang on to the Christmas spirit and I keep on, keepin’ on. I’m constantly on the lookout for new tunes and the “it” Christmas song. You know the ones I’m talking about, the standouts like “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by U2, or, the “rickrolls” of holiday music like “Last Christmas” by Wham! and the ditties that are immediately considered contemporary classics like my personal favorite, “Christmas Treat” by Julian Casablancas
