What I’m Wearing: Ariat Footwear

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ariat.

JetSet Dad is a little bit country. Me? I’m a whole lotta rock and roll. So why my obsession with cowboy boots? I’m not entirely sure, but I’ve been waiting and wanting to add them to my wardrobe pretty much forever. When the boot brand, Ariat, began to look for a few bloggers to experience their western footwear I was game especially when I heard how they were drawing this season’s designs from vintage boutiques. Right. Up. My. Alley. Next thing I knew, I was asked to pick a pair from a few styles, and within a few days, there was a package at my doorstep.

Ariat fits all types of moods

I decided to go with a pair of brown SAHARA  boots from Ariat’s Western Fashion division. This rock and roller was about to go cowgirl. Well, kind of. The SAHARA boot is more of a hybrid of the two allowing me to ease into the transition. Ariat has added their modern twist on the traditional style cowboy boot by creating an “X” toe boot with stylish rounded “gladiator-type” collar with the SAHARA. It’s just the right amount to make the boots eye-catching, but not over the top and too mainstream trendy. Perfect as a closet staple.

The Romantic

I have always had a few concerns about buying cowboy boots. I am pretty picky and precise when it comes to key items in my closet. The leather needs to be perfect, the craftsmanship needs to be top-notch and they need to be somewhat comfortable (let’s face it, sometimes fashion can be painful.) Cowboy boots always look narrow, so this has been a huge red flag for me in the past.

Boho Chic

The SAHARA passed my test with flying colors. The full-grain brown leather was gorgeous, the decorative stitching and embroidery was detailed and carefully crafted, but most importantly, the boots fit so well, and with Ariat’s ATS Footbed Technology, they were super comfortable. This was something I didn’t think was possible. As for sizing, I normally wear an 8.5 or 9. I went with a 9 on these boots and they fit beautifully.

Rock and Roll

So now I’m hooked on Ariat. Truth be told, I have always dreamed of a pair of killer red cowboy boots. Exactly like these ALABAMA babes also from Ariat’s Western Fashion collection. I think Santa might even be on-board with this. I mean, they are red after all!

Off the bat, I immediately felt a kindred spirit with Ariat. The attention to detail, and focus on high-quality footwear speaks volumes. Having been a newbie at Western footwear, I am thrilled and relieved to have found a collection like Ariat that not only encompasses everything I look for in a American brand, but is driven by world class design, innovation and technology.

Oh cool, thanks for sharing and thanks for the review! Love the link for the chance to win a free pair because honestly, these are pricey. But quality is always worth it! You should post a pic of an outfit you wear with them 🙂

Hi Nicole. Cool boots! I own one pair of cowboy boots and love them to pieces. Actually, you’re going to laugh, I have had the one pair for about 15 years…no joke. They seem to be the most perfect pair and no other pair has so far comes close. But, as with all good things…I need to start thinking about replacing them. 🙁 Maybe I’ll have a look into this company; some boots form them might be just the thing. 🙂

These are beautiful boots! I am not a boot wearer except in winter and these would be too beautiful to risk ruining in the snow. I will tweet this out though so my followers can check them out. I am now following you via G+ and Twitter. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
    Have a great day 🙂
